Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before joining our affiliate program.
1. Eligibility
The Translaty Referral Program is open to any individual or entity with an active affiliate account. By signing up, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Referral Commissions
Affiliates earn their standard commission rate (10% unless agreed otherwise) on every qualifying order a referred customer places during the first 6 months after that customer's first order. From then on, orders from that customer earn the repeat-client commission rate (5% unless agreed otherwise) for as long as their account remains linked to your referral. Commissions are calculated on the total order value before taxes and fees. The 6-month period applies to customers referred from 17 September 2026; customers referred earlier keep the conditions that applied when they were referred. Your current rates are always shown on your dashboard.
3. Payment Terms
Commission payouts are processed monthly, provided the affiliate has reached the minimum payout threshold of $50 AUD. Payments are made via bank transfer or PayPal, depending on the affiliate's preference. Affiliates must provide accurate payment details to receive commissions.
4. Cookie Duration
Referral tracking uses cookies with a 30-day duration. If a referred visitor makes a purchase within 30 days of clicking your referral link, the sale will be attributed to you. After 30 days, the referral link must be clicked again for attribution.
5. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates must not engage in spam, misleading advertising, or any activity that could harm Translaty's reputation. Affiliates may not bid on Translaty branded keywords in paid advertising campaigns. Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
6. Intellectual Property
Affiliates may use Translaty logos and promotional materials provided in the affiliate dashboard. Any use of Translaty's intellectual property must be in accordance with our brand guidelines. Unauthorised modifications to marketing materials are prohibited.
7. Program Changes
Translaty reserves the right to modify commission rates, payment terms, or any aspect of the referral program at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate participation in the referral program at any time. Upon termination, affiliates will receive payment for all valid, pending commissions within 30 days. Translaty may terminate affiliates who violate these terms without prior notice.
9. Liability
Translaty is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the referral program. Our maximum liability is limited to the commission amounts owed to the affiliate at the time of any claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from the referral program will be resolved through the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
